One of the most underrated defensive tackles in the Ivy League who shoots the gaps and wreaks havoc in the offensive backfield.
JUNIOR (2010)
Led the Big Green defensive linemen in tackles and was second on the team in sacks and tackles for a loss ... four pass break-ups also ranked third on the squad ... only Dartmouth defender to pounce on two fumbles ... started each of the 10 contests, stretching his streak to 21 games ... began the season with three solo stops at Bucknell, including a seven-yard sack right after the Big Green took the lead for good in the third quarter ... had four more unassisted tackles, with one coming behind the line of scrimmage, the next week in the home-opening win over Sacred Heart ... after recording three solo tackles at Penn, finally got help with two versus Yale ... also batted down a pair of Bulldog passes on third down ... of his five tackles against Holy Cross, one came during a tremendous goal-line stand of three straight stops at the one, and another came on third down at the three to thwart another touchdown drive and keep Dartmouth within five points before the Green pulled out the win ... registered a sack and recovered a fumble in the victory at Columbia ... had one of his biggest games of the year at Cornell with one solo sack, two assisted sacks and a fumble recovery as Dartmouth ... Brown was the victim of his season-high six tackles, two going for a loss, and a pass break-up with the score tied in the fourth quarter ... finished the year with five tackles at Princeton, three coming at the line or behind it, and a PBU on a fourth-down play.
SOPHOMORE (2009)
Started each of the 10 games at defensive tackle ... opened the season strong with a career-high nine tackles against Colgate ... also blocked a Raider extra-point attempt that was returned for a Big Green defensive two-point conversion ... contributed four tackles versus Penn ... one of his two tackles in the 28-6 win over Columbia was a seven-yard sack ... made four more stops in the double-overtime triumph against Cornell ... registered his other sack of the season at Brown, a three-yard loss on a 3rd-and-3 ... finished the year with four tackles versus Princeton, one of which went for a three-yard loss.
FRESHMAN (2008)
Played in half the varsity games, starting the season finale at Princeton ... first career tackle was a solo stop against Yale early in the fourth quarter ... helped out on a season-high three tackles at Cornell.
HIGH SCHOOL
Christian Academy’s Lineman of the Year ... chosen for the Greater Louisville East-West All-Star game ... as offensive lineman helped the offense rank in top 10 in the state in Class 2A ... Metro Louisville all-star nominee ... three letters each in track and football ... state finalist in the shot put and school record-holder in the shot ... track and field academic all-state pick as a junior.
