2017-18 (Senior): Named a member of the All-Ivy League Second Team...Voted the Phelan Award winner as the team MVP… Finished fourth in the 2018 Hobey Baker Fan Vote... Named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week on Feb. 21… Stopped 50-of-54 shots in a home sweep of Brown and Yale on 11.3-4...Recorded 31 saves in 1-0 loss at Denver (12.15), named 2nd star of the game...Stopped 38 in win at No. 2 Denver (12.16)...Stopped 74 shots against UNH (35) and UMD (39) in a 1-0-1 Ledyard Classic performance...Stopped 36 in a loss to Harvard (2.2)...Stopped 33 in Dartmouth’s 3-2 win against No. 7 Clarkson (2.16), including a game-saving glove save late in the third period that was named the No. 4 NCAA Play of the Week...Finished fourth in the 2018 Hobey Baker Fan Vote...In his 2 wins against St. Lawrence in the 1st round, allowed just a single goal a game...Stopped 34 shots in his final win, a 4-1 victory of Game 1 of the quarterfinals at Harvard.
2016-17 (Junior): Started in net 29 times for the Big Green in his 3rd season, posting 758 saves on 847 shots for a .895 save percentage...Season-high 48 saves at Quinnipiac on Nov. 11.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Made his collegiate debut in the season opener vs. No. 11 Harvard, coming in for the final 29:46 of action and making 12 saves and allowing two goals...Made his first career start at Michigan on Nov. 28, making 28 saves in a 1-1 tie with the 12th-ranked Wolverines at Yost Arena...Earned his first career win at Rensslear on Dec. 4 in a 2-1 victory, making 28 saves...Appeared in five games, making four starts and posting a 1-2-1 mark.
2014-15 (Freshman): Did not make an appearance.
Before Dartmouth: After two and a half seasons and 105 games with the Flin Flon Bombers in Saskatchewan, Buffalo was traded to Drumheller in Alberta for the stretch run this past season. In that time with Drumheller, he posted a 2.03 goals against average and a .924 save percentage in 11 regular season games. As a first-year player in 2011-12, he was tabbed as the SJHL Rookie of the Year, posting a 3.37 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Although impressive numbers as a rookie, Buffalo would improve on every major statistic in each of his three seasons of juniors.
Personal: Son of Patrick Buffalo and Belinda Lightning...Has five brothers...graduated from Wetaskiwin Composite High School in 2011... Enjoys traveling and has backpacked across Europe.
