Senior (2018-19): Competed in all 17 matches for the Big Green in the No. 1 position ... swept his opponents from No. 10 Drexel, Williams and Brown ... won in four games against Navy and Cornell.
Junior (2017-18): Competed in 18 matches at the No. 2 position all year, recorded eight wins… took a four-game win over his opponent at No. 13 Brown… earned wins against No. 6 Penn and No. 7 Princeton in the regular season… defeated his Princeton opponent to help advance Dartmouth to the final game of the Potter Cup where the Big Green finished fifth place on the year… competed individually at the College Squash Association Individual Championships where he played in the Molloy East Division and made it to the finals, taking down opponents from Virginia, Hobart and William Smith, and Franklin and Marshall to get there.
Sophomore (2016-17): Competed in 17 matches at the No. 2, 3 and 4 positions… won eight matches… defeated his Princeton opponent in straight games in the Hoehn Cup finals.
Freshman (2015-16): Won six of 16 matches played… competed in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions… went 4-3 in Ivy League play.
Before Dartmouth: Spahr’s biggest squash achievements as a senior include winning the Father-Son National Doubles Championship in the Open Division, winning the Junior National Doubles Championship in the BU19 division with future teammate Matthew Giegerich, and finishing 15th in the country for singles in the BU19 division after reaching the quarterfinals in both the Yale JCT and the Baltimore JCT.
Personal: Son of Chris and Catherine Spahr… has one sister… father, Chris Spahr, was a four-year squash player at Franklin and Marshall… interested in the Dartmouth Outdoor Program, tours, improv, and ultimate frisbee… enjoys hiking, fishing, and improv.
