2008-09: Had an overall record of 10-6 for the season...went 6-5 at No. 6...also went 2-1 at No. 5 and 1-0 at both No. 3 and 4
2007-08: Played in 19 games with a 10-9 record ... Played 10 games at No. 5 (5-5), six at No. 4 (3-3) and three at No. 3 (2-1).
High School: David Michael Shrubb graduated from Taft School in Connecticut with four varsity letters in squash, three in lacrosse, one in track and field, and participation in cricket and soccer.
His parents are Paul and Heather Shrubb, and they, along with David's brothers, were born and reside in Pembroke, Bermuda.
From 2003-2006 David's squash team won the New England Founders League Tournament for Taft.
He also won the Bermuda Junior National Championship for the Under 13, 15, and 17 division, and in 2005 David was named the Caribbean Junior Champion.
David was ranked No. 1 at Taft School 2004 until 2006 and was the No. 1 ranked Junior in Bermuda from 2003-2005.
He was named the Bermuda Junior Team captain in his 2004-2005 season.
As a part of the Senior National Team for Bermuda, David was a part of the Pan American Championship team in Mexico in 2004, and in 2005 he won the bronze medal in the Island Games in 2005.
In high school David was also active in the Taft-Class Committee in his freshman and sophomore years, and as a junior he was elected Class President.
In his senior year he was elected as Head Monitor (School President) and was also awarded the Dartmouth Book Award (2005).
While at Dartmouth, David divides his time between varsity squash and improv/drama classes, student government, and the Dartmouth Outing Club.
As a freshman at Dartmouth, Michael had a 12-8 record and played in the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 positions.
