Bio
Freshman (2014-15): Made his collegiate debut against Harvard and Cornell, placing 10th in the 50 free (21.81) and 12th in the 200 IM (1:59.73) … improved to a 21.05 in the 50 free at the Brown Invitational … at the Ivy League Championship, he swam a 20.72 in the 50 free, 1:40.15 in the 200 free and a 45.23 in the 100 free … was part of the 800 free relay (6:38.19) that broke the Dartmouth school record by over two seconds.
Before Dartmouth: Three year captain and four year MVP at Tesoro High School in Orange County … four individual, three relay records … five-time NISCA All-American … three-time Scholastic All- American … represented Southern California at North American Challenge Cup twice against Mexico and Canada in international competition … ran cross country freshman and sophomore year … Tesoro Male Athlete of the Year 2013-2014.
Personal: Son of Linda and Lawrence Boval … brother, Brett, swam for MIT (2008-10) … father ran track & field for Cornell (1966-70) … enjoys skiing, surfing, and being Southern Californian.
