Sophomore (2014-15): Appeared in two tournaments during the fall of his sophomore year and won one of his singles matches … recipient of the team’s Clarence J. Davies Award for displaying the qualities of sportsmanship and integrity.
Freshman (2013-14): Did not compete as a freshman … at the end of the season, he was awarded the Occum Bowl for showing the greatest improvement throughout the year.
Before Dartmouth: Niehaus played on the varsity tennis team at Greenwich High School for four years … captain senior year … team won its conference all four years … Niehaus was on the 2013 Connecticut All-State team for his senior season performance.
Personal: Blake Christopher Niehaus is the son of Chris and Lori Niehaus … has three siblings who all attended Dartmouth: Scott ’10, Emily ’12, and Elizabeth ‘14.
