Nam Pham joined the Big Green coaching staff ahead of the 2024 fall season.

In his first season in Hanover, the Big Green saw multiple national rankings and won 13 matches which is the most since the 2018-19 season. Dartmouth ended the season ranked fourth in the New England Region by ITA.

Pham joins the Big Green following a four year career at Illinois State as a member of the men’s tennis team. As a player he was named the Summit League Player of the Year in 2022, he also earned an All-Summit League selection in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

While competing at the college level, Pham also served as both tennis coach and tennis instructor at multiple organizations. Most recently he served as a tennis coach at the Overland Park Racquet Club in Overland Park, Kansas.

DeSanto is excited to add Pham to the coaching staff. “The addition of Nam to our team is a big win for Dartmouth men's tennis. As a very accomplished college tennis player, he will round out our coaching staff perfectly as someone who was successful on court because of his tactical approach to the game. He competed with true passion every time he stepped on the court, and I can tell that passion will translate into him being one of the best young coaches in our sport.”
