2009-2010: Team Captain
2008-09: Knocked off Brown's #6 player in the fall in 3 sets at the National Tennis Center Invitational and then was off in Fall 2008 doing an internship in New York City and came back sluggish and had some minor injuries that hurt him at the beginning of the dual match season...Eventually worked his way back up but did not see much action.
2007-08: Picked up a win at the Big Green Invitational...Played #6 at the ECAC tournament and almost knocked out Penn State's #6 before losing a tight match. Started a few matches for the Big Green in the winter and spring.
2006-07: Posted an overall singles record of 4-5, 2-3 in dual matches...Was a perfect 2-0 at No. 5 singles...Was 1-3 in doubles action...Went undefeated at the Dartmouth Shootout and cracked the lineup at the ECAC Championships, playing No. 5
High School/Prep: Ranked in the top 100 in the nation in USTA Boy's 16's and Boy's 18's ... was ranked #4 in New England in Boy's 18's Division ... Won the Class L State Singles title in 2005 and led team to 4 straight Connecticut team titles...Captain of High School tennis team and was named to the All-FCIAC first team 3 times and All-State every year...Was a member of the National Honor Society and was given the Colonel Bernard Garfinkle Award by USTA New England for a New England Junior player who values integrity, honesty, and great sportsmanship on the tennis court.
At Dartmouth, he serves as the Jaeger Civic Intern, Head of Student-Athlete Community Service. In addition, Friedman is a statistics tutor in the Academic Skills Center and member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Executive Board. He is a history major and plans to go into finance after graduation.
