Freshman (2010-11): In his first season, Kelly played in six singles matches and 10 doubles matches ... went 4-2 in singles, including winning his last three matches at the Harvard Invitational ... in doubles, he teamed with Mike Jacobs, Cameron Ghorbani and Alex de Chatellus to compile a 6-4 record ... started the season by winning his firth three matches with partner de Chatellus.
Before Dartmouth: John Kelly was a two year letterwinner in tennis at Gilman High school ... playing at number three singles, John helped his team to consecutive MIAA Championships in 2005-06 and 2006-07, including an undefeated season as a freshman ... was selected to the All Metro Team of Baltimore both seasons. Kelly was ranked in the top 50 in the nation and named a five-star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net ... at Dartmouth, he plans to study Economics in hopes of pursuing a career in business.
