Trinh attended Colonel Zadok Magruder High School in Rockville, Md…competed on the indoor and outdoor track and field teams and the soccer team in high school…daughter of Victor and Jeanine Do Trinh and has one sister and one brother…studies economics and government at Dartmouth and hopes to pursue a career in business.
Q&A with Vanessa
Why Dartmouth?
I chose Dartmouth because it was a place I never thought I'd be with opportunities I never thought I'd have. I also had an amazing time at Dartmouth that sealed the deal.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
I've been riding my whole life, although only recreationally up until I joined the team this year. My uncle plays polo and at home I would work around the stables and exercise his horses as often as I could.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

What activities are you involved in outside of Equestrian?
Alpha Xi Delta, Relay for Life, I'm a UGA (Undergraduate Advisor), and BookeD
What are your future plans?
I will be working at the Pacific Investment Management Co (PIMCO) in Newport Beach, CA next year in Portfolio Management. Hopefully in a couple years I will be back on the East Coast for business school.
