Kathleen Duwve enters her second season with the Big Green in 2026.Â
In her first season at Dartmouth, she oversaw the development of Ola Goebel, who made her collegiate debut in the 2025 season. With Duwve's guidance, Goebel made a career high seven saves against Brown, as well as six against Arkansas in the NCAA First Round. The junior goalkeeper also led the Ivy League in goals against average (0.40), saves (42) and shutouts per game (8 through 13 games). Goebel finished second in NCAA D1 rankings in goals against average, (.400) and fourth in save percentage (.894) while being named First Team All-Ivy and earning All-Tournament honors.Â
Duwve, alongside her staff, became the first in program history to earn the Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year honor. The team had its best regular season finish in recent history, earning second place in the Ivy League for the first time since 2014 and its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2005.Â
Duwve comes to Dartmouth from Iowa State, where she served as an assistant coach for two seasons. During her time with the Cyclones, she established Avery Gillahan as a goalkeeper, earning 159 saves through her sophomore season, as well as Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week and Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors.Â
Â
She began her coaching career at DePaul University in August 2021, serving as an assistant coach. While with the Blue Demons, Duwve cultivated a competitive culture and since then, has seen goalkeepers Mollie Eriksson and Elena Milam kick off professional careers with Ottawa Rapids FC and Salmon Bay FC.Â
Â
Hailing from Sylvania, Ohio, Duwve spent her collegiate career at Bowling Green State University. She holds the program records in winning percentage (64.5), as well as goals-against average (1.02). Before graduating in 2020, she earned a number of accolades, including being selected to the All-MAC First Team, Academic All-MAC Team, and named a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete.
Â
As a goalkeeper for the Falcons, Duwve had 216 saves, 14 clean sheets, 32 wins, and a .797 save percentage through 5045 minutes of work. Additionally, she guided her team to two back-to-back MAC and NCAA championships.Â
Â
Duwve began her professional career in Apulia Trani ASD in Italy's Serie C, then returned to the U.S. to play for the Women's Premier Soccer League's Gotham Reserves.Â

"I'm thrilled to be joining Taylor, Rachel, and Hayley on staff. The vision Taylor has for this program, paired with the current staff, is something that I couldn't resist being a part of. I look forward to contributing to the development of our student-athletes both on and off the field." Duwve said.
