HANOVER, N.H. – Taylor Schram, the Stacy Branca '94 Family Head Coach of Women's Soccer, has signed a multi-year contract extension, announced Thursday by Mike Harrity, the Haldeman Family Director of Athletics and Recreation at Dartmouth.
"I'm thrilled to continue partnering with Taylor in her leadership of our women's soccer program. From her first day, Taylor has demonstrated a deep commitment to developing our student-athletes both on and off the field, and a relentless drive for excellence," Harrity said. "Her vision for Dartmouth Women's Soccer and her passion for developing talent and character align perfectly with Dartmouth's values. We are excited to collaborate with Taylor and her staff as they continue to build an elite program that shapes leaders prepared for impact upon graduation."
Schram, who just completed her third season, has led significant program growth, revitalizing the team's competitive identity, improving performance across the Ivy League and nationally, and building a culture that reflects discipline, ambition and progress. Under her leadership, the program achieved its first Ivy League Tournament championship in 2025 and first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2005. The Big Green defeated Columbia 1-0 and host Princeton 1-0 in the Ivy League Tournament to advance to NCAAs.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue leading Dartmouth women's soccer," Schram said. "This program is built on exceptional people, our players, staff, alumnae and supporters, and it's an honor to keep elevating our standard together. I'm especially thankful to Mike Harrity for his unwavering support and belief in our vision. The foundation we've built is strong, and I'm excited for everything still ahead.
"Dartmouth is a truly special place, defined by its history, its people and its relentless pursuit of excellence," Schram continued. "I'm inspired every day by what this program can achieve, and I'm energized for the future as we continue to push Dartmouth women's soccer to new heights."
Schram and her staff became the first in program history to earn the Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year honor, and also had five student-athletes earning All-Ivy Recognition in 2025. The team had its best regular season finish in recent history, earning second place in the Ivy League for the first time since 2014. Schram's leadership over the past three seasons has elevated Dartmouth from the bottom of the Ivy League standings to a historic milestone.
With Schram's guidance, Anna Leschly (Defender) was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2025, marking the fifth Dartmouth women's soccer student-athlete to earn this achievement and the first since midfielder Corey Delaney in 2012. Additionally, Leschly was called up to the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team training camp, as one of 10 collegiate-level athletes to earn this honor.
Ola Goebel (Goalkeeper) and Stephanie Lathrop (Forward), alongside Leschly, were named First Team All-Ivy, marking the most First Team All-Ivy recipients since 2012. Additionally, Ellie Davidson (Defender) and Hailey Rorick (Midfielder) were named Second Team All-Ivy.
Prior to Dartmouth, Schram served as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Boston College for a year and a half. While with the Eagles, she assisted the head coach in all facets of the program, including developing training and game plans, enhancing the student-athlete experience and operations tasks such as budgeting and NCAA compliance affairs. In addition, Schram previously spent two years as an assistant coach for the Big Green while also serving as the program's recruiting coordinator.
A four-year starter at Penn State, Schram helped the Nittany Lions to three Big Ten titles and four NCAA Tournament appearances including a runner-up finish in 2012. During her time in State College, Schram was a two-time All-Big Ten selection, a member of the 2012 NCAA All-Tournament Team, a Third Team All-Region honoree as well as a First Team Academic All-American.
Her standout play at Penn State earned her an invitation to the United States U20 National Team camp, where she ultimately secured a place on the roster that traveled to Tokyo for the U20 World Cup.
Schram holds USSF "B" and "C" licenses as well as an NSCAA Premier National Diploma and United Soccer Coaches Association Premier Diploma.
