Antwan Wright joined the Dartmouth track and field coaching staff in October 2022. Wright joins as an assistant coach working with sprints and hurdles.
Wright previously spent time at the University of Florida (Aug. 2016 – Feb. 2018, Aug. 2018 – Aug. 2021) and the University of Kentucky (Feb. 2018 – Aug. 2018). With the Gators, Wright helped guide them to two national championship team titles, two runner-up titles and four top five finishes. During his two stints at Florida, they won three SEC team titles, one runner-up and five top five finishes.
A graduate of Florida, Wright garnered several accolades during his time as a student-athlete with the Gators. He was a two-time NCAA Division I Outdoor national champion in the 4x100m relay, a six-time All-American in the 60m race (indoor), 100m and the 4x100m relay (outdoor). He was a member of the second fastest 4x100m relay team (38.29) on Florida’s all-time list and is tied for the sixth fastest 60m dash (6.60) on the Gators’ all-time list.
