NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams traveled down to the annual Dartmouth-Yale-Columbia meet on Saturday, making several program top ten records in their appearances.
Jada Jones, the reigning champion of the indoor and outdoor 200m, had a fantastic meet, setting another program record.The senior sprinter finished the 60m in 7.42, winning the event for the Big Green and shaving four seconds off her previous personal best. Additionally, she won the 200m for the Big Green with a time of 24.08.
Jones, alongside Rebeka Zibritova, Veronika Simova and Lindsey Kerrins, won the 4x400 relay for the Big Green, finishing the event in 3:48.01 and putting themselves at No. 8 all-time. Andie Murray put herself at sixth all-time in the 1000m with her 2:48.52 finish.
On the jumps side, Charlotte DiRocco won the high jump, clearing 1.65m, while Evie Woodrow cleared 3.65m to clinch the pole vault. In the 60m hurdles, Zibritova put herself at No. 2 all-time with an 8.78 finish.
Zaneta Pivcova won the shot put for Dartmouth with her 14.79m mark, putting herself at second all-time in the event, while Viktoriya Emelianova came in second with a 13.71m throw.
As for the men, the Big Green had a number of top finishes to earn second overall with 49 points.
Winston Morgan clinched the 200m for the men with a 21.97 finish, while Liam Murray won the 400m with a 47.76 finish. Noe Kemper placed first in the mile, finishing in 4:06.62. Morgan, Murray, Jack Rosseau and Jack Intihar, placed first in the men's 4x4 with a time of 3:15.54, which is good for seventh all-time.
Ashton Bange, Kemper, Connor Foley and Callahan Fielder won the men's 4x8 for the Big Green, finishing with a time of 7:33.82, which is good for eighth all-time. Santino Cicarella placed second in the 60m with his 6.91 finish, which was good for sixth all-time.
Jack Tan won the pole vault for the Big Green, clearing 4.70m. Max Klein clinched the shot put with his 17.68m throw, while Colton McMaster came in second with his 17.46m throw.
The Big Green will head down to Cambridge, Mass., for the Gordon Kelly Invitational, hosted by MIT, on Saturday.
