Dartmouth football continues to roll through the fall, winning their sixth-straight game, thanks in large part, to senior wide receiver Drew Estrada who set a single-game record with 142 yards on punt returns. The women's rugby team earned their fourth Ivy Rugby championship, with freshman Kristin Bitter leading the way with 16 points.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Cape Air Athletes of the Week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Cape Air Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
Kristin Bitter, Fr., San Diego, Calif., Flyhalf, Women's Rugby
In Dartmouth’s 41-22 victory over Harvard on Saturday, Kristin Bitter led the team with 16 points from one try, four conversions and a penalty kick. The win gave the Big Green their fourth Ivy Rugby Championship title in the past five years. The rookie is currently first on the team with 59 points as the team heads into the NIRA Championship next week.
