It is championship season for the Big Green sailing team. Two of Dartmouth’s top sailors led the team to a fourth-place finish in Kings Point, New York. The two compiled a 4-3 record for the best finish at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association Open Team Race National Championship regatta since 2019.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.

Yumi Yoshiyasu, Jr., Houston, Texas, Crew, Sailing
Yumi Yoshiyasu, a junior from Houston, Texas, competed for the Big Green at the women’s fleet race and open team race national championship events. She first helped Dartmouth to a seventh-place finish in the women’s fleet race regatta, competing alongside Gray Hemans in 15 races. She then sailed alongside Boyd Bragg, leading Dartmouth to its best finish at the open team race national championship event since 2019.
