HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men’s hockey team capped the regular season with a weekend sweep at Thompson Arena while the women’s lacrosse program earned a rivalry win over twin-state rival Vermont. Cooper Flinton and Fiona O’Keeffe were instrumental for their programs this past week.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athlete – one male, one female – as Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
Fiona O’Keeffe, Fy., Boston, Mass., Women’s Lacrosse
The first-year attack recorded nine points over two games last week. O’Keeffe scored her first collegiate hat trick, including the game-winning goal, in the 16-7 win over Vermont and also added two assists to finish the night with five points. She followed that up with two goals and two assists in the Ivy League opener against Cornell.
