NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.—The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its All-Region teams on Thursday. Dartmouth senior Maya Kendall has been named First-Team All-Northeast. With the honor, she in now eligible for the IWLCA All-American team that will be announced in May 21.
Kendall closed out her Dartmouth career with an impressive season. The Denver, Colo. native led the Ivy League with 168 draw controls across 15 games while being fourth in the country in draw controls per game. Against New Hampshire on Feb. 18 she tied the NCAA record for draw controls in a game with 24 while breaking her own Ivy League record of 22. At Cornell on Mar. 28 she broke the career record for draw controls as she notched her 419th of her career. She finished her four-year career with 461 draw control.
Earlier this week she was named a USA Lacrosse All-American while also being named First Team All-Ivy for the second straight season.
