HANOVER, N.H.—For the second time this season, Dartmouth draw specialist Maya Kendall has been named an All-American. Kendall was named to the Nike Lacrosse Media All-American Second Team by Inside Lacrosse on Friday.
Kendall was the best draw player in the Ivy League as she collected an Ivy best 168 draw controls. She is fourth in the country in draw controls per game with 11.20 while being 11th in the country in total draw controls. On Feb. 18 against New Hampshire, the Denver, Colo. native broke her own Ivy League record for draw controls in a game as she recorded 24. The 24 draw controls also tied the NCAA single game record. She recorded 20 or more draw controls in three games in 2026 while having 10 or more in seven games. Against Cornell on Mar. 28, Kendall recorded her 419th career draw control to break the career Ivy League record, she finished her career with 461. The 461 is fifth among active Division I players, she averaged 7.95 draw controls per game in her career.
This is the second All-American honor this season for Kendall as she was named a USA Lacrosse All-American honorable mention last week. She was also named IWLCA First Team All-Region on Thursday.
