HANOVER, N.H. -- The Penn Quakers defeated the Dartmouth men's and women's squash teams in Sunday's Ivy League action at the Berry Sports Center.
The Penn men won, 7-2, while the Quaker women gained a narrow, 5-4 decision.
The Big Green men earned their points from junior Todd Wood (Jamestown, R.I.) with a four-game win and from sophomore Adam King (Oromocto, N.B.) who won 9-7 in the fifth.
The Dartmouth women came close thanks to wins by senior Julia Drury (Buffalo, N.Y.), junior Avery Eyre (Philadelphia, Pa.), senior Jessica Vyrostko (Niagara Falls, Ont.) and senior Jessica Tory (Montreal, Que.).
Entering the Howe Cup national team championship at Harvard on February 24-25, the Big Green women have a 10-5 overall record, 2-4 in the Ivy League.
The men are 13-6 overall and 2-4 in the Ivies and compete February 17-19 at the CSA team championship at Princeton.
