HANOVER, N.H. - Senior captain Nick Johnson (Calgary, Alta.) the leading scorer for the Dartmouth men's hockey team, has been named first-team All-ECAC after finishing 2007-08 with 10 goals and 25 points. Johnson was also chosen first team All-Ivy this year. Freshman Evan Stephens (Bessemer, Mich.) earned his first collegiate ECAC honors after being named third team and placed on the All-Rookie team.
Johnson earned his first-ever ECAC honors with his career-high 25 assists, tying his career-high points set in 2004-05 as a freshman. Johnson finished the season second in the conference with a 1.18 points-per-game average and his 17 assists was third in the ECAC. He was also seventh in goal scoring, second in power play points and was the league's leader in power play goals. Johnson finished 10th all-time at Dartmouth in scoring with 125 points and 3rd in games played with 133.
Stephens added to his second team All-Ivy honors with his first-ever ECAC hockey awards. Stephens finished as the league's top scoring defenseman with 18 points. His 26 total points was third in scoring for the Big Green. Stephens was the second highest scoring rookie behind the league's Rookie-of-the-Year, Riley Nash from Cornell.
