Women's Golf Finish First Round of Play at William and Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. ? The Dartmouth women's golf team is in 14^th place after the first day of the First Market Bank Intercollegiate at William and Mary. With a total of 332 points, or 44 over par, Dartmouth is tied with the University of Detroit Mercy after Saturday.

The Big Green are led by freshman Katharine Gulemi (Fairfield, Conn.) who is currently tied for 21^st overall at seven over par.

Senior Elizabeth Dupuy (Phoenix, Ariz.) had three birdies for the day, and is in 77^th place overall at 13 over par. Going +12, junior Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio) and senior Libby Wegener (Shorewood, Minn.) are both tied for 64^th.

Par for the course is 72, a score broken on the first day only by Bari-Lynn Erais of Bradley University and Chelsea Curtis of Georgetown University. Both girls are tied for first at two under par.

Play continues today at William and Mary.
