In 2000 to 2002 Wegener was a part of the Jr. Girls Championship team for the Hazeltine National Golf Club and in 2002 and 2003 won the Tri Metro Conference. In 2002 and 2003 she won the State Section Doubles Championship as the No. 1 doubles team. She maintained her spot at No. 1 for golf for four years from 2001 to 2004.
Beyond athletics, Wegener was the Editor-In-Chief of her school newspaper and an AP Scholar. She plans to study Economics while at
