Lauren Strickler comes to the Big Green from The Latin School of Chicago. While at the Latin School she led the boys golf team to the 2002 regional championship shooting a round of 81. She earned four letters and captained the team as a senior. In 2003 Strickler was named team MVP and earned a sportsmanship award. Off the course she was involved in the yearbook and was named Youth Volunteer of the Year in 2003 for her work with the Association House of Chicago.
