ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. ? The Dartmouth women's golf team took a
sixth place finish at the Ivy League Championships after the final round today
from the par-72 Atlantic City Country Club.
Harvard won the title, finishing with a 297-288-305-890,
while Dartmouth
fell to sixth with a 330-336-329.
Junior Tory Sheppard (Fishers, Ind.) was the low scorer for the Big Green
with two-day total of 80-79-82-241, which put her in the 24th spot in the
individual competition. Next for Dartmouth was
senior Libby Wegener (Shorewood,
Minn.) who fired an 82-83-84-249
in her final Ivy Championship.
Junior Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio)
was the team's low scorer for the final round with an 8-over 80 after an
84-87-171 in day one to finish with an 84-87-80-251 for the championships.
Rounded out the competition for the Big Green was senior Elizabeth Dupuy (Phoenix, Ariz.) who
concluded her final Ivy Championships with an 84-88-83-255, while freshman
Katharine Gulemi (Fairfield,
Conn.) finished with a score of 86-87-88-261.
