FINAL RESULTS

REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS

Saturday: A strong south breeze of 12 to 20 knots was filling in all day with 1 - 4 foot chop giving the lake open water conditions. 14 total races were sailed on a W4 course with an offset and gate. Race committee member of the day goes to Vermont sailor Eli Powell for getting in the water to help several capsizes. No protests or breakdowns were filed.

Sunday: A cold front passed through just after sunrise giving a nice 8 - 12 knot
northerly for day 2 of the LCO. 10 more races were completed using a mix W4 and W5 courses. Many thanks to the coaches from Conn, PC, UNH and Yale for their help in the race committee and for hearing protests. Also a huge thanks to Vermont sailor Connor Aswad for a superb job on scoring and shore support during the entire weekend. Two protests were heard and one was upheld. Congrats to Conn and Dartmouth for qualifying for the Hoyt!
