NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- One round was all that could be completed at the Yale Women's Invitational, and Dartmouth finished in 15th place out of 19 teams at 42-over par (326). Sophomore Katie Gulemi (Fairfield, Conn.) led the Big Green in the difficult conditions with an 80 (+9).
Senior Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio) was one stroke behind Gulemi, while freshman Kathleen Quirk (Kansas City, Mo.) shot an 82 (+11). Also competing for Dartmouth were senior Tory Sheppard (Fishers, Ind.) with an 83 and freshman Heather Roland (Newtown Square, Pa.) with an 88.
The women will be back in action next weekend at Williamsburg, Va., for the ECAC Championships beginning on Friday, Oct. 3.
