Men's Tennis Competes at Day Two of Northeast Invitational

MANCHESTER, Mass. ? The Dartmouth men's tennis team finished the 2009 ECAC Men's Tennis Indoor Championship with a 5-2 loss to Princeton on Saturday afternoon.

It was another great start by the new doubles pair of junior Daniel Freeman (Chatsworth, Calif.) and sophomore Stephen Greif (San Antonio, Texas) as they went about their business again today with a solid 8-5 win over Princeton's top pair. Unfortunately, the Big Green's No. 2 doubles pair of senior captain Ari Gayer (Hollis, N.Y.) and sophomore Curtis Roby (New York, N.Y.) could not pull off their match losing 9-7.

In the singles, Dartmouth did pick up two points with good wins by Greif at the No. 4 position and freshman Chris Ho (Los Altos, Calif.) at No. 6 singles. Greif defeated Princeton's Ryan Kim 3-6, 6-4, 7-6, while Ho took down Parker Pryor in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0.

The next Big Green outing will be next Saturday at 6 p.m. against Marist from the Boss Tennis Center.
