WEYMOUTH, Mass. - At the Weymouth Club, the Dartmouth women's tennis team took the doubles point and won four out of the six singles matches to defeat Boston College, 5-2, yesterday afternoon.
The Big Green remained undefeated on the season with the win and stand at 2-0.
Dartmouth won the doubles point when junior Georgiana Smyser (Houston, Texas) and freshman Sarah Leonard (Norwalk, Conn.) won deciding match 9-7 at number three doubles.
In singles, the Big Green came out very strong and won four of the first six sets. The green received three quick victories to clinch the match from No. 1 junior Molly Scott (Trabuco Canyon, Calif.), Smyser at No. 5 and junior Ryan Reichel (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) at No. 6.
