On Saturday, Dartmouth competed against Radcliffe, Minnesota and Syracuse. Conditions were rough on the 2000m Charles River course, with 18-20 mph cross tail wind and rolling waves.
The varsity eight race was a bit of a wild affair. 16th ranked Radcliffe led the race 600m in before catching an over-the-head crab, pushing them down to fourth. Dartmouth surged into the lead at that point but Radcliffe got all the way back up to a close second at the 1000m mark before catching another crab. The Big Green was able to keep space this time, winning in 6:37.7 ahead of Radcliffe in second in 6:45.3. Minnesota finished third, Syracuse fourth and Dartmouth brought home the O'Leary Cup for the third time.
Dartmouth also won the varsity four race in a time of 7:48.9 ahead of Radcliffe in 7:55.2 and Syracuse in 7:57.3. Minnesota was third in 7:58.2. The third varsity race also went to the Big Green, who won in 7:13.7 with Radcliffe second in 7:23.4.

After posting solid results on Saturday, Dartmouth raced in Sunday's "A Flight" races, which featured slightly less windy conditions, 10-12 mph cross head wind and light rain.
Dartmouth took third in an exciting varsity eight race on Sunday, with #16 Radcliffe winning this time in 7:09.1. Ohio State was not far off in a time of 7:11.5, just 0.7 seconds ahead of Dartmouth, crossing the line in 7:12.2. Northeastern was fourth in 7:23.7.
