NEW YORK, N.Y. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team had two individual winners at the 2011 USTA Billie Jean King NTC Men's College Invitational on Sunday in junior Xander Centenari (Towson, Md.) and sophomore Cameron Ghorbani (Lexington, Mass.).
Centenari had the more prominent victory winning in the A Draw, the invitational's top draw. The junior beat Milo Hauk of Saint John's, 7-6, 6-2, to claim the top spot. Ghorbani competed in the C draw and defeated the second-seeded John Yetimoglu of Columbi, 6-4, 6-2.
In the E Draw, freshman Sam Todd (Encinitas, Calif.) lost in the finals to the second seed from Brown, Dan Hirschberg, 6-2, 6-2.
Dartmouth next competes at home in the Dartmouth Shootout on Oct. 7-9.
