THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth field hockey team is back in action for a pair of games this weekend, playing host to Harvard on Saturday and taking on UNH in Durham the following afternoon. The game at New Hampshire will serve as the final non-conference game of the season for the Big Green.

LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth fell, 3-1, at Columbia on Sunday afternoon, dropping out of the four-way tie for first place in the Ivy League with the Lions, Princeton and Cornell. Freshman Anna Ewasechko scored the lone goal of the game for the Big Green, finding the back of the cage in the 48th minute with her team team down by three.

SENIOR DAY
Following the game with the Crimson on Saturday, head coach Amy Fowler and her staff will honor the four-member Class of 2015 who will have just finished their final home game. Ali Savage, Janine Leger and Ellen Meyer will suit up for their last game at Chase Field on Saturday, while Rebecca Hu has been granted a medical redshirt and will return in 2015.

SCOUTING HARVARD
The Crimson come to Hanover having lost their last three games by the identical score of 1-0, dropping their overall mark to 8-7 and 2-3 in Ivy contests. UNH, Princeton and, most recently, Boston College have managed the one-goal shutout victory against Harvard dating back to Oct. 19. The last goal a Crimson player managed to score came in a 2-1 win against Cornell on Oct. 18 with Noel Painter netting a marker in the 25th minute (a stretch of 256:00 without a goal). Painter's seven goals and 18 points are both the most among her teammates with Marissa Balleza and Elizabeth Jacobson tied for second with 13 points each. Junior Issy Davies has been the primary goalkeeper for Harvard this season, posting a 1.41 goals against average and a .696 save percentage to go along with her 8-7 mark.

AGAINST THE CRIMSON
Dartmouth owns a 24-14-4 advantage in the all-time series, a figure boosted by last season's 4-2 win in Hanover. Ellen Meyer set a then-career high with 13 saves in the victory, while Eliza Becker scored twice and Olivia Quaglia '13 and Jenna Schwenk netted one each.

SCOUTING UNH
Prior to hosting the Green and White on Sunday afternoon in its final game of the season, New Hampshire will play Friday afternoon at archrival Maine. The contest with the Black Bears will certainly alter the Wildcats' 6-11 overall mark before taking on Dartmouth two days later in a contest that will serve as their Senior Day. Junior Meg Flatley leads the 'Cats in all three major offensive categories: goals (12), assists (5) and points (29). Senior Carlee Tarbell has been the mainstay in the UNH cage, posting a 2.15 goals against average and a .692 save percentage in nearly 1,200 minutes of action to this point.

AGAINST THE WILDCATS
A late goal from New Hampshire's Casey Pohlmeyer halted a second-half comeback bid by Dartmouth back on Nov. 3, 2013, as the visiting Wildcats picked up a 2-1 non-conference win in Hanover in the last meeting between the two Granite State teams. Maggie Scanlon '13 scored the home team's only goal, snapping UNH's stretch of 405:10 (5+ games) without allowing a goal to the opposition dating back to Oct. 13, 2013.

IVY LEAGUE LEADERS
With just two weekends remaining in conference play, nothing seems to be shaking out in terms of a clear Ivy League champion. Dartmouth was knocked from the top of the standings with its loss to Columbia, but the Lions remained tied at 4-1 in Ancient eight games with Cornell and Princeton. The Tigers and Big Red play on Saturday, while Columbia has games remaining with Yale and Harvard. Cornell defeated Columbia in OT, while the Lions became the first Ivy team since Dartmouth in 2011 to defeat Princeton. Dartmouth sits alone in fourth at 3-2 in conference matches and can jump back into the mix with a series of losses by the teams ahead of it.

STRONG IN GOAL
Meyer continues to be strong in the cage for the Big Green in her final season with the team. She posted her third double-digit save game of 2014 on Sunday as she turned aside 13 shots off Columbia sticks. Meyer's 117 saves rank second in the league behind only Yale's Heather Schlesier (134). Meyer needs just 15 saves combined in her final three games to move into the program's single-season top-five. Coming into the season, Meyer had 169 total saves, including a career-high 120 last fall. Her 286 career saves coming into the weekend are just 17 short of moving her into fifth all-time, a remarkable feat given she has been the No. 1 starter for just two full seasons.

THE DETRICK-YEES
We will have another sister act at Chase Field this weekend as junior Clare Detrick-Yee will battle her sister Jill on Saturday. Jill is a freshman with the Crimson this season, appearing in three games in 2014. Dartmouth's Lisa Masini '12 used to battle her sisters Kit '12 and Anna '16 both of Brown during her time in Hanover.

TWO-GAME WEEKENDS
This weekend will mark the third instance of 2014 in which Dartmouth will play games on consecutive days. The team opened up the year with losses to Northwestern and Louisville on Sept. 5-6, before defeating Brown and Bryant in Hanover on Sept. 27-28.Unlike those previous two occurrences, this will be the first time the two games have come in different locations.
