HANOVER, N.H. — Freshman Jack Heneghan completed 26-of-40 throws for 387 yards and six touchdowns and the Dartmouth junior varsity had to punt just once on the way to a 40-0 win against an overmatched Williams College jayvee team Sunday on Memorial Field.
The Big Green scored all of its points by the third quarter of a game played with a running clock for most of the second half. Dartmouth finished with 426 yards of total offense to 72 for the Ephs.
Freshman Emory Thompson caught six balls for 119 yards for the Big Green, including a 55-yard touchdown. Junior K.J. Booze added six receptions for 74 yards with touchdowns of eight, 18 and 23 yards.
The tight end had four catches for 83 yards, including a 45-yard scoring pass while freshman Ben Hagaman counted a nine-yard TD grab among his two catches for 45 yards.
Forrest Town led the ground game with nine carries for 37 yards.
Senior Rob Lauzen and freshman Ian Hanselman had six tackles apiece to top the Big Green while freshman Kyran McKinney-Crudden had five tackles, a sack and an interception he brought back 21 yards. Freshman Jimmy Knight had two sacks, three tackles and the crushing hit of the afternoon.
Dartmouth closes out its junior varsity season with a passing scrimmage against Norwich University on Oct. 9 at 1 p.m., also on Memorial Field.
