THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth women's soccer team will play just one game this week, hosting Princeton in an Ivy League contest on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
A goal apiece by Melanie Vangel and Jessica Lukas and an own goal by the opponent led the Big Green to a 3-0 victory over Maine in a neutral-site game on Tuesday evening. After a scoreless first half that was controlled solely by Dartmouth, the Green opened scoring in the 54th minute of action when Vangel received a cross from Brittany Champagne and sent the shot high over the keeper. At 80:48, a hard kick by Lauren Lucas that bounced off a Black Bear resulted in an own goal and, three minutes later, the keeper came out of her goal to retrieve a loose ball and Lukas beat her to it, shooting over Claudia Dube-Trempe to give Dartmouth a 3-0 lead that would last until time ran out.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Princeton is currently on a four-game winning streak, defeating the likes of Villanova (3-1), La Salle (4-1), No. 23 William & Mary (2-1, 2OT) and, most recently, Yale (3-0). Tyler Lussi leads the team with eight goals and two assists for 18 points and is second in the Ivy League behind Lucielle Kozlov in both goals and points.
LAST TIME AGAINST PRINCETON
On Oct. 4, 2014, the Big Green and the Tigers played to a 2-2 draw on the road. Corey Delaney opened scoring 12 minutes into the first, but Lussi tied it up 10 minutes later on a penalty kick. Dartmouth entered the second half with a one-goal lead when Tasha Wilkins scored the Green's second of the day at the 35-minute mark. The visitors remained ahead until Lussi tied the score once again in the 62nd minute, and that is how it would stay through two overtime periods that yielded just two shots by the Green.
RAINEY AND COMPANY
In his first season with the Big Green in 2014, head coach Ron Rainey compiled a record of 8-5-4 and a 3-1-3 mark in Ivy League play. Joining Rainey on the bench are Grace Barnard, who is in her second season as an assistant coach, and Cord Farmer, who joined Dartmouth after spending last season at Nevada.
CAPTAINS
The Green are led by Corey Delaney, Jackie Friedman and Kozlov, who are all entering their final season on the field. So far this season, Kozlov leads the trio with 19 points from nine goals and an assist.

Opening their collegiate careers this year and making up a 10-player freshman class are Remy Borinsky, Chloe Conacher, Jaclyn Engel, Stephanie Everett, Julia Fissore-O'Leary, Katie Harris, Lauren Lucas, Ellen Pattinson, Lillian Raffetto and Sally Sandoval. Leading the group is Lucas, who has registered seven points off a goal and five assists.
