NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth men's tennis team competed in just three matches on the fifth day of the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship on Monday, winning all of them.
In the semifinals of doubles, junior Diego Pedraza and freshman Roko Glasnovic had a close 7-5, 7-5 victory over Luke Gamble and Alexander Day of Princeton.
Senior Dovydas Sakinis took on Columbia's Eric Rubin in the semifinals, dropping the first set, 7-5, before turning things around to win the next two, 6-4, 6-2. Against Kyle Mautner of Penn in the semifinals, Sakinis, once again, fell in the first set, 6-3, but was able to take the remaining two sets, 6-4, 6-3.
Both finals matches will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
