MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Dartmouth senior Eric Robinson became the fourth member of the 2014-15 Dartmouth men's hockey team to sign a professional contract in the week following the season's end.
The Foxborough, Massachusetts, native inked an Amateur Tryout Contract with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League on Friday morning and will be in the lineup Friday night as the team takes on Grand Rapids in the final game of a road trip. He will be in his familar No. 19 jersey.
Robinson — an alternate captain the past two seasons — wrapped up his collegiate career with the Big Green last weekend in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals, capping a senior season in which he registered 9 goals and 14 assists for 23 points in 33 games. His point total was third on the team behind only Eric Neiley and Tyler Sikura, both of who signed contracts with the Providence Bruins and Springfield Falcons, respectively, earlier this week.
The top-line winger was second on the team with a plus-13 rating this season, including a plus-8 mark in 22 ECAC Hockey games.
Over the course of four seasons in a five-year span, Robinson appeared in 124 games, picking up 79 points on 35 goals and 44 assists. His games-played total since coming to Hanover in 2010 ranks tied for 19th all-time in the program's 109-year history.
Brandon McNally also signed with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs Thursday afternoon to bring Dartmouth's total to four players going pro since it's Game 2 loss at Colgate last weekend.
