FORT WORTH, Texas – The No. 46 Dartmouth men's tennis team fell to No. 31 Oklahoma State, 4-2, on Sunday. The Big Green dipped to 8-6 on the season, while the Cowboys improved to 15-3.
Dartmouth took a 1-0 lead after winning at the No. 1 and 3 doubles. The No. 27-ranked pairing of junior Dovydas Sakinis and senior Chris Kipouras took down No. 16 Jakob Sude and Arjun Kadhe, 7-5 at No. 1 and, at the No. 3 position, senior Sam Todd and sophomore Diego Pedraza had a 7-6(5) defeat of Jurence Mendoza and Lukas Finzelberg.
Oklahoma State responded to Dartmouth taking the doubles point by winning four straight singles matches. Sophomore Max Schmidt picked up the Green's lone singles' victory by defeating Mendoza, 6-3, 7-5 at the No. 6 position.
Dartmouth will next take on No. 34 SMU at 7 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, March 24.
