FAIRFAX, Va. – The Dartmouth men's track & field team competed at the George Mason Spring Invitational Saturday in a non-scoring meet.
The Big Green got a first-place finish from Julian Heninger in the 5000m as he ran a 14:32.78. Senior Dylan O'Sullivan took fourth in the event as he ran a 14:38.04.
Corey Muggler was second in the triple jump as his fifth attempt was measured at 48-2.0/14.68m and proved to be his best of the day. Muggler also was sixth in the long jump as his best distance was measured at 6.85m. Jacob Shippee posted a 209-1.0/63.72m in the javelin to take third in a field of nearly 30 competitors.
Sophomore Alex Frye was fourth in the 110m hurdles finals at the home of the Patriots, running a 14.66. Frye was also seventh in the high jump by clearing 6-6.25/1.99m on his second attempt.
Senior Brett Buskey was fourth in the finals of the 100m, posting a 10.74. The senior was also 23rd in the 200m with a 22.43.
In the 800m, Will Callan claimed 16th in 1:53.56, while Connor Clark was 15th in the 1500m race as he ran a 3:50.98. Ed Wagner was fifth in the 400m hurdles as he crossed the line in 53.62.
