PHILADELPHIA – The Dartmouth men's track & field team continued its weekend Friday at the Penn Relays, held inside Franklin Field.
The Big Green actually began the weekend at Penn on Thursday night with two individuals running later in the evening. Anthony Anzvino took ninth in the 3000m steeplechase by running a 9:22.17, while Dylan O'Sullivan posted a 30:37.28 to claim 18th in the 10,000m race — the final event of the day and began near 11 p.m.
On Friday, Dartmouth was represented in four events.
Starting off the morning at 9 a.m. was Edward Wagner in the 400m hurdles. Wagner ran a 54.52 to take fourth in his heat and 20th in a field of 50 competitors. Shortly thereafter Alex Frye competed in the high jump, taking 25th by clearing 6-5.0/1.96m.
Two relay teams were also in action on Friday as the distance medley relay (DMR) quartet of Pat Gregory (3:20.68), Phil Gomez (49.42), Will Callan (1:55.85) and Julian Heninger (4:18.06) combined to run a 10:24.01 and finish 24th.
Zachary Plante, Amos Cariati, Wagner and Gomez posted a 3:16.16 to take third in the Heptagonal section of the 4x400m relay as well.
