LOWELL, Mass. – Luckily for the other teams competing, Saturday's George Davis Invitational host by UMass Lowell was a non-scoring meet. Because if it was, the Dartmouth men's track & field team would have dominated the field.
In all, the Big Green won 12 individual events, while the 4x100m relay team claimed the top spot.
The relay quartet of Thomas Reilly, Brett Buskey, Edward Wagner and Lloyd May combined to run a 42.16.
Buskey was the bigger winner of the day as he also claimed the top spot in the 100m (10.72) as well the 200m (21.82), factoring into three victories on the day. The 200m also featured May (22.46) and Guy Green (22.39) taking second and third, respectively.
The 800m saw Dartmouth take the top four spots with Kevin Stanko leading the way in 1:55.02. Nicolas Creasman (1:56.05), Joe Carey (1:56.82) and Joseph Kerber (1:57.40) crossed in the next three positions.
Continuing the trend of Dartmouth taking ownership of the podium Saturday, the trio of Julian Heninger (3:55.37), Will Callan (3:59.08) and Miles Irish (4:01.52) were the first three individuals to place in the 1500m.
The same was true of the hammer as Colin Minor (192-9.0/58.76m), Tim Brennan (187-8.0/57.21m) and Dom Filiano (168-2.0/51.27m) were the top three competitors. Filiano (152-6.0/46.48m) and Brennan (150-3.0/45.80m) also went one-two in the discus.
In the 110m hurdles, Alex Frye (14.66) and Nico Robinson (15.06) took the top two spots.
Other wins went to Zachary Plante (49.20) in the 400m, Kyle Dotterer (9:28.11) in the two-mile run, Max Cosculluela (15-11.0/4.85m) in the pole vault, Victor Ngei (44-4.0/13.51m) in the triple jump and Jacob Shippee (207-2.0/63.15m) in the javelin.
