HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's swimming and diving will head to New Jersey for the Ivy League Championship, which takes place from Thursday Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 20 at Princeton's DeNunzio Pool.
The Big Green will be looking to improve on their eighth-place finish at last year's championship.
Last year, sophomore AnnClaire MacArt was a bright spot, setting a school record by just over a second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:50.48), placing sixth in the championship final. Senior Kendese Nangle was a force to be reckoned with, breaking her own school record in the 100-yard backstroke (54.78) to earn third place. Dartmouth's 400-yard freestyle relay was the Green's best relay, as it took fourth (3:23.05).
Prelims will begin every day at 11 a.m., while finals will commence at 6 p.m. Day one of the event will open on Thursday with the 200-yard freestyle relay, 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM, 50-yard freestyle and 1-meter diving.
