PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The women's swim and dive Ivy League Championship continued, Friday as the Big Green saw three athletes qualify for A-finals, three lifetime bests, and a program record.

In prelims, first-year
Sena Bozkurt kicked off the day in the 100-yard butterfly. She qualified for the B-final, swimming a 54.20. Jamie Legh,
Sophia He and
Lane Murray also swam for the Big Green, each qualifying for the C-final with times of 55.34, 55.45, and 55.68 respectively.

Lindsey Drumm just missed the finals cutoff, finishing just five one-hundredths of a second behind Murray.

Dartmouth had two swimmers in the 400-yard individual medley,
Carly Joerin and
Sydney Rawie. Joerin finished in 4:28.06 while Rawie finished in 4:28.33, both just missing qualification for the finals.

The Big Green had an A-final qualifier in the 200-yard freestyle as
Carinn Bethea continued to impress at this year's championship. The junior finished in 1:46.50, sliding into the fifth spot of the A-final. Bethea is the first Dartmouth women to swim a sub 1:47 in the event in program history.

Izzy Mundee secured the final spot in the B-final of the 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:50.13.

Ekin Okudur,
Addy Domian,
Samantha Li, and
Catherine Ritter also swam for the Big Green. Okudur's time of 1:52.67 was a lifetime best, despite not qualifying for the final.

Kathy Jia led the way for the Big Green in the 100-yard breaststroke preliminaries, claiming sixth overall with a time of 1:02.17, claiming herself a spot in the A-final.

Erika Ilkiu also secured her spot in the B-final with a time of 1:03.09.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Bozkurt and
Maria Uranga claimed spots in the C-final, posting times of 55.54 and 56.21 respectively to close out prelims on day three.

The finals kicked off the 100-yard butterfly as Bozkurt continued to shine, swimming a lifetime best 53.93 in the B-final, a time that also ranks her second overall in program history.

He, Legh, and Murray also swam the event in the C-final, posting times of 55.33, 55.4, and 56.13 respectively. He's time of 55.33 is ninth overall on the Big Green's top-10 list in the event.

In the 200-yard freestyle final, Bethea claimed eighth with a time of 1:48.03, claiming valuable standing points for the Big Green. In the B-final, Mundee's time of 1:48.67 secured her 12
th overall. Breaking 1:50 also earned Munde the fifth fastest time in program history.

Jia swam the Big Green's second A-final performance of the day in the 100-yard breaststroke, claiming sixth overall with a time of 1:01.73, just one one-hundredth of a point out of fifth and less than sixth tenths of a second off the podium. Not only was Jia's time a lifetime best, it was her first time swimming the event sub 1:02, ranking her second overall in program history.

Ilkiu also scored points for the Big Green in the B-final, securing 13
th overall with a time of 1:03.27.

Bozkurt and Uranga also swam in the finals of the 100-yard backstroke. Bozkurt claimed 19
th overall after swimming in the C-final and finishing with a time of 55:08 while Uranga posted a time of 56.98.

The Big Green wrapped up the swimming portion Friday with the 400-yard medley relay, as Bozkurt, Jia, He and Murray each took a leg. They finished in 3:34.41, the fifth fastest time in program history.

On the boards,
Claire Cornell scored points in the C-final of the 3-meter dive while
Maggie Lambdin qualified for the A-final and will compete on Saturday, February 21.

Head Coach
Milana Socha saw historical improvement from her team on Saturday and looks forward to seeing the Big Green close out the championship tomorrow.

"We haven't had more than one individual A-finalist in the entire meet the past three years so for the team to have two a finalists compete today with one more set for tomorrow is a huge improvement," Socha said. "We've got one more day left featuring some folks best events, so after a good rest tonight, we will be back at it tomorrow!"

After the third day of the Ivy League Championship, the Big Green have tallied 343.5 total points and sit in seventh. The 2026 championship will conclude on Saturday, February 21 with seven events.
