PHILADELPHIA — The Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team fell to Yale and Penn this weekend in Philadelphia by final scores of 201.50-97.50 and 231-69. There were a number of highlights, including multiple wins over Yale.

"We saw some good performances from what ended up being a very fast meet for early January," said head coach
Milana Socha. "We are learning how to push through and go fast when we are tired, getting better at self-talk and team energy, and that is showing in how we are able to step up at meets like this."

In diving,
Maggie Lambdin was the overall event champion in 3-meter diving with a score of 275.35.

Carinn Bethea secured a win against Yale in the 100 freestyle, with a time of 50.63, which was second overall.
Lane Murray was also victorious against the Bulldogs in the 100 freestyle, posting a time of 55.60.

Sena Bozkurt led off the 200 medley A relay team with a lifetime best in the 50 backstroke (25.25).

That relay team also had a top-10 finish in program history.

Dartmouth returns to action at home next weekend when the Big Green host UMass and Northeastern in the Tate Ramsden Invitational, beginning on Friday with the first session at 5 p.m. Friday is Pride Night, with Senior Recognition set for Saturday. The sessions Saturday are set for 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the enthusiasm the women bring to the deck over the next few weeks of practices and competition as we begin to gear up for Ivy Championships that are swiftly approaching," said Socha.
