HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 32 Dartmouth women's tennis team will host the 2016 ECAC Women's Tennis Championship this weekend at the Boss Tennis Center.
The three-day tournament will take place from Feb. 5-7 and will feature an all-Ivy League field, with the Big Green as the top seed in the seven-team bracket. Dartmouth is also the highest ranked Ivy team in the latest ITA Division I Women's Rankings: Dartmouth (32), Princeton (43), Brown (54), Columbia (58) and Yale (70).
The Green opened 2016 at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, two weekends ago, falling to No. 23 Kentucky, 4-1, on the first day before turning things around to defeat San Francisco by the same score the next day.
Action gets underway on Friday at 10 a.m. As the top seed, Dartmouth receives a bye and will play at 4 p.m. on Saturday against the winner of the Columbia/Yale matchup.
