FRIDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
The Big Green play a critical Ivy League match at Columbia Friday night. It is a match between the two teams were picked to finish first and second in the Ivy League preseason poll and represented the conference in the NCAA Tournament last year. The game will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
LAST TIME OUT
- Dartmouth took on Lehigh, the top team in the Patriot League and came away with a scoreless draw Tuesday night on Burnham Field.
- Alex Budnik made his debut in goal and picked up the shutout for the Big Green, finishing with five saves including two diving stops, one of which was in overtime.
- The Big Green got a tremendous defensive effort from Jordan McNair, Ohad Yahalom, Garrett Scott, Jordan Bailon, Mothibi Penn-Kekana and Steven Hadley. That group staved off a number of shots by the Mountain Hawks, led by Mark Forrest.
- Dartmouth and Lehigh were even with five shots on goal.

- Dartmouth currently sits in fourth place in the Ivy League standings with an 1-0-2 record.
- Tiger Graham leads the team and is tied for third in the Ivy League with four goals, he also leads the team with eight points.
- Dawson McCartney is second on the team with six points, he has two goals and two assists.
- Justin Donawa has two goals and one assist.
- Along with McCartney, Kota Sakurai and Noah Paravicini lead the team with two assists.
- Sakurai, Yima Asom and Matt Pickering each have one goal.
SCOUTING COLUMBIA
- Columbia enters Friday night's contest with a 5-4-1 record and are 2-1-0 in the Ivy League, sitting in third place.
- The Lions biggest win came against No. 11 Butler on Sept. 3, they also dropped a close, 1-0, match to No. 25 Fordham.
- Columbia is 3-3 in its last six games with wins over Monmouth, Brown and Penn. The losses came against Fordham, Pitt and most recently a 2-1 decision against Princeton.
- The Lions are third in the Ivy League with 13 goals this season and have allowed the fewest in the conference with eight.
- Kynan Rocks leads the team with three goals and seven points, Dylan Mott and Danny Loranetto each have two goals. Six others for Columbia have one goal.
UNBEATEN STREAK
- Dartmouth has not lost a match this season since Sept. 18 when they fell 1-0 to Lehigh.
- Since then, the Big Green have played in six overtime matches out of their last seven games, going 4-0-3.
- Dartmouth has not lost an Ivy League contest since Oct. 29 of 2016, going 9-0-3 in its last 12 conference matches.
AGAINST THE LIONS
- Dartmouth leads the all-time series with a 29-23-7 record over Columbia dating back to 1960.
- The Big Green are 13-5 dating back to 2000 and have won four consecutive matches over Columbia.
