Moon Cheong sank 12 pars and a pair of birdies to shoot a 4-over 76 on Saturday and lead Dartmouth in the second round of the Alexa Stirling Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Louisville at the Atlanta Athletic Club. The Big Green ended the day in 10th place at 54-over par (630), while the 36th-ranked Cardinals are atop the leaderboard with a 584 (+8), two strokes ahead of Virginia Tech.
Starting the round on the 10th hole of the par-72, 6,210-yard course, Cheong played the back nine at 1-over par with six pars and a birdie on the par-5 18th. She added six more pars on the front nine with another birdie on the par-4 sixth to conclude her day with her 76, five strokes better than her first round to lift her 10 spots in the standings into a tie for 44th out of the 64 golfers.

Kaitlyn Lees, who tied classmate
Kristen Chen yesterday for the team's low round with a 76 (+4), helped the Dartmouth cause with a 6-over 78 today. Her lone birdie came on the par-5 12th hole as she ended the day with a 154 (+10), tying her for 31st. Chen, meanwhile, posted an 8-over 80 to fall back into a tie for 39th at 12-over par (156).
Junior
Kristen Soh added an 83 (+11) to the team score, leaving her in 61st at 19-over par overall. Senior
Catharine Roddy, who did not play in the first round due to illness, valiantly took the course today but struggled with her game, carding a 12-over 84.
Keera Foocharoen of Virginia Tech took over the individual lead, matching her first-round score of 70 (-2) to surpass Louisville's Lauren Hartlage for a one-stroke lead. Foocharoen's teammate, Jessica Spicer, sits in third at even par, four strokes back.
The tournament will conclude Sunday morning when Roddy tees off on the 10th hole at 8:40 a.m.
