Izzy Glennon scored her first career goal in the 87th minute to boost the Big Green past Yale Saturday afternoon at Burnham Field. Sophomore
Lorna MacFarlane set up Glennon for her third assist of the season.

Dartmouth (6-3-2, 2-0-1 Ivy) outshot Yale (5-5-1, 0-3-0 Ivy) 10-8 and 5-4 on goal. The Big Green also held an 8-6 advantage in corner kicks. Dartmouth extends its unbeaten streak to six games.

"Yale is a great team and what we saw today was a great example of what Ivy League soccer is," said head coach
Ron Rainey. "We are happy with the result and it was awesome to see Izzy's first career goal."

Dartmouth racked off six shots in a five-minute span in the first half.
Remy Borinsky started it off with a header in the 10th minute that went wide, then
Zoe Boocock and Borinsky each had shots that were blocked setting up a corner kick. Boocock's shot in the 14th minute was saved after the corner and
Bonnie Shea had a shot that was blocked.
Tracey Mills had an opportunity from about 20 yards out in the 15th minute, but her shot went off the top post. Yale closed out the first half with two shots but could not connect, making it 0-0 at the half. Â

Yale entered the second on the attack and outshot Dartmouth 6-4 in the half. Goalkeeper
Mariel Gordon came up with a huge save in the 85
th minute to keep the match scoreless, it was one of her four saves on the day.

Moments later in the 87th minute, MacFarlane sent a cross towards Glennon who launched a bending shot past the keeper and into the back of the net to secure the 1-0 win for the Big Green.

Dartmouth is back in action on Tuesday for a non-conference match at Holy Cross at 5 p.m.
