WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS
Dartmouth takes on Las Vegas for the UNLV Lady Rebel Roundup at the Cox Pavilion on Saturday and Sunday. The Big Green begin the tournament against Middle Tennessee on Saturday and will either play UNLV or UC Santa Barbara on Sunday.
OPENING NIGHT
- The Big Green took care of business in their season opener, defeating Loyola (Md.) 54-41 at Leede Arena.
- Dartmouth gained its lead in the middle of the game, outscoring the Greyhounds, 33-19, in the second and third quarters.
- Isalys Quinones led the Big Green with a 10 point, 12 rebound double-double, while Annie McKenna set a new career high with 13 points and Anna Luce was also in double figures with 11 points.
- Cy Lippold finished with seven points, three rebounds and two assists and Kealy Brown came away with four points and eight rebounds.
- Dartmouth held Loyola to 24.5% shooting from the field, while the Big Green shot 38%.
AT VERMONT
- Dartmouth then faced a local road test across the border at Vermont and came away with a convincing 66-42 victory in Burlington.
- The Big Green went on a 12-0 run at the end of the first and beginning of the second and continued to play well as they outscored Vermont, 23-7, in the second quarter.
- Quinones had another impressive game as she finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and a blocked shot.
- Anna Luce set career highs with 13 pionts and six rebounds, while Elle Louie posted a career high with nine points.
- McKenna did a little bit of everything with five points, seven assists and seven rebounds.
- Dartmouth outrebounded Vermont 40-29 and shot 44.3% from the field and was perfect from the free throw line.
ICE ON FIRE
- Through the first two games of the season, Quinones is averaging 16 ppg, which is tied for fifth in the Ivy League.
- Her 9.5 rpg is fourth best in the conference and she is top 10 in field goal percentage and blocked shots.
- Quinones earned an honorable mention selection in the first Ivy League weekly awards.

BIG GREEN STATS
- Luce is second on the Big Green with 12 ppg and is tied for third with 5 rpg. Luce leads the Ivy League with .733 field goal percentage.
- McKenna leads the Big Green and is second in the Ivy League with 4.5 apg. She is third on the team with 9 ppg and 5 rpg.
- Kealy Brown leads the Big Green with 5.5 rpg.
- As of Nov. 20, Dartmouth leads the country in scoring defense allowing just 41.5 ppg.
- The Big Green also rank ninth in the nation in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 27.9% shooting.
- Dartmouth leads the Ivy League with a +18.5 scoring margin.
TOTAL TEAM EFFORT
- Every healthy player has seen action this season for the Big Green.
- Louie and Luce are seeing expanded roles in their sophomore seasons as two of the first players off the bench for the Big Green.
- The freshmen have also made impacts. Katie Douglas hit two triples against Vermont and Asha Taylor and Veronica Kelly scored their first points against the Catamounts.

SCOUTING THE BLUE RAIDERS
- Middle Tennessee comes into Saturday's contest with a 3-2 record.
- Their wins are against Vanderbilt (65-58), Furman (78-71) and most recently a commanding win over Mississippi Valley State (101-51).
- Three players score in double figures for the Blue Raiders. Alex Johnson leads the team with 14.0 ppg, while A'Queen Hayes averages 13.0 ppg and Anna Jones scores 11.4 ppg.
- Middle Tennessee was picked to finish third in the Conference USA preseason poll with one first-place vote.
- The Blue Raiders finished 18-13 last season and made an appearance in the WNIT.
SCOUTING THE LADY RUNNIN' REBELS
- UNLV is off to a rough start in the early going of its 2018-19 campaign.
- The Rebels are 0-3 with losses coming against Wright State (68-52), UC Irvine (57-55) and Gonzaga (70-59).
- UNLV is led by Katie Powell, who is averaging 15 ppg and 7.7 rpg, which are both team highs.Â
- LaTecia Smith is second on the team with 8.7 ppg and leads the Rebels with 2.6 spg.
- Powell was one of 20 players selected to the preseason Lisa Leslie Award watch list. The award recognizes the best center in collegiate women's basketball.
- UNLV was picked to finish second in the Mountain West preseason poll after a 19-12 overall record and 14-4 in conference a season ago.
- The Rebels host UC Santa Barbara on day one in Las Vegas.
SCOUTING THE GAUCHOS
- UC Santa Barbara is still searching for its first victory after beginning its season with an 0-4 start.
- The Gauchos are led by Coco Miller who averages 11.8 ppg, 3 rpg and 2.8 apg.
- Natalia Bruening is scoring 9.5 ppg and leads the team with 8.0 rpg, while Bri Anugwom is also averaging 9.5 ppg.
- The Gauchos were selected to finish seventh out of nine teams in the Big West preseason poll.
- UC Santa Barbara will play UNLV on the first day of the Lady Rebel Round-Up and will either play Dartmouth or Middle Tennessee on day two.

WHAT'S AHEAD?
Dartmouth moves even further west to California where they will face Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday, Nov. 28 before heading to San Diego to play the Toreros on Dec, 1.
