Dartmouth keeps its west coast swing rolling with matchup at Cal State Fullerton

WELCOME TO THE GOLDEN STATE
Dartmouth heads even further west to Fullerton, California to take on the Titans of Cal State Fullerton Wednesday night at the Titan Gymnasium.

…STAYS IN VEGAS

The Big Green played two close games in the UNLV Lady Rebel Round-Up, but ended up leaving Las Vegas without a victory.
Dartmouth first took on Middle Tennessee, the eventual tournament champion, and hung around all game before falling, 70-58, to the Blue Raiders.
Cy Lippold hit a career high five three pointers and was 5-7 from beyond the arch, finishing with 15 points to lead the Big Green.
Paula Lenart finished with a career high 14 points to go along with seven rebounds, four of the boards were offensive.
Kealy Brown came away with seven points and four rebounds, while Annie McKenna led the team with five assists.
Dartmouth cut the score to 52-48 early in the fourth, but the Blue Raiders outscored the Big Green 18-10 down the stretch.

ROUND-UP GAME TWO

Dartmouth took on UC Santa Barbara in the second game of the tournament and its comeback effort was not enough.
The Big Green trailed by 21 with five minutes remaining in the third quarter and were able to slice the deficit to four points with less than 30 seconds left in regulation thanks to a suffocating defense.
The defense was able to force 25 UCSB turnovers.
Quinones led the Big Green with 20 points and six rebounds.
It was a balanced scoring attack after that, Asha Taylor finished with eight points off the bench, while Annie McKenna finished with seven.
Cy Lippold had six points, eight assists and four steals and Paula Lenart also had six points with seven rebounds.

IVY RECOGNITION

Thanks to her career high five triples against MTSU and a solid game versus UCSB, senior guard Cy Lippold has been named to the Ivy League weekly honor roll.

BIG GREEN STATS

Quinones leads the Big Green and is sixth in the Ivy League with 14.5 ppg, she also leads the team with 6.8 rpg.
McKenna leads the Big Green and is second in the Ivy League with 4.5 apg. She is third on the team with 7.3 ppg and fourth with 4 rpg.
Cy Lippold is third on the team in scoring, she averages 7.5 ppg and is second on the team with 3.8 apg.
Paula Lenart is second on the Big Green with 5.8 rpg.
The Big Green rank second in the Ivy League in team scoring defense, allowing 53.8 ppg.
Dartmouth is second in the conference with a +4.8 scoring margin and third with a .407 field goal percentage

SCOUTING THE TITANS

Cal State Fullerton enters Wednesday's contest with a 2-4 record and are currently on a three-game losing streak.
The Titans have picked up wins in its season opener over Seattle (57-54) and Cal Baptist (79-65).
One of their losses was against San Diego (83-72). Dartmouth faces USD on Saturday.
Daeja Smith leads the Titans and is averaging a double-double with 17.2 ppg and 11.5 rpg.
Three other players are averaging double figures. They are Amiee Book (14.2 ppg), Raina Perez (12.4 ppg), Jade Vega (10.7 ppg) and Hannah Thompson (10.0 ppg).
Cal State Fullerton was picked to finish ninth out of nine teams in the Big West preseason poll, but are currently third in the standings.
