THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth men's soccer team kicks off its 2018 campaign this weekend at the ADIDAS/IU Credit Union Classic hosted by Indiana this weekend. The Big Green will first take on the No. 6 ranked Hoosiers on Friday before taking on No. 24 Notre Dame on Sunday.
LAST SEASON
The Big Green won their fourth consecutive Ivy League championship and finished with a 12-3-2 mark in in the regular season and were 6-0-1 in Ivy play. Dartmouth earned a bye into the second round of the NCAA Tournament where they fell in penalty kicks to New Hampshire at Burnham Field.
SCOUTING INDIANA
The Hoosiers were selected as the No. 2 team in the country according to the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll but have since fallen to No. 6 after a 1-1 start with an overtime loss to No. 5 Wake Forest and a victory over No. 3 North Carolina. A.J. Palazzolo and Griffin Dorsey have each scored a goal for the Hoosiers this season. Indiana advanced to the National Championship last season and fell to Stanford.
AGAINST THE HOOSIERS
Dartmouth and Indiana have met twice before. The Big Green defeated the Hoosiers 4-0 win in the first ever meeting between the teams in South Bend in 2008. Indiana evened the season series with a 1-0 victory in 2014 in a game that was once again on Notre Dame's campus.
SCOUTING NOTRE DAME
The Big Green stay in Bloomington to take on the No. 24 ranked Fighting Irish in their final game of the season opening tournament. Notre Dame has played one game this season and came away with a 1-1 tie at home against St. Louis University. Patrick Berneski scored the lone goal for the Irish off an assist from Felecian Dumas. The Big Green will also get a chance to see former head coach Chad Riley, and assistants
Brian Plotkin and Ryan Fahey who are now on the Notre Dame coaching staff.
AGAINST THE FIGHTING IRISH
Dartmouth and Notre Dame have met three times before with the Fighting Irish taking two out of the three meetings. Notre Dame defeated Dartmouth 2-1 in 2008 in South bend and again at Notre Dame in 2014 with a 4-1 win for the Irish. Dartmouth defeated Notre Dame in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in South Bend in 2010.

First year head coach
Bo Oshoniyi takes over at the helm for the Big Green. He is joined on the staff by assistant coaches
Chad Duernberger and
Stewart Flaherty. Seven freshmen were added to the program over the summer. The group consists of five defenders, one midfielder and one goalkeeper.
